What an exciting day. We finally made it out of town. Yeah!!! It has been nearly three months since I left town. Sad. This trip took us 49 miles west to a town with bigger shopping and yummy food. First stop - Target. I got new shades and Miss Emily got new clothes and hair bows. After some retail therapy my husband took us to a yummy (new to us) restaurant, Mooyah. They serve up some tasty hamburgers and fries. We will be going again. Finally, our day ended at the zoo. It was such a beautiful winter day, sunny and 54 degrees. Perfect. Emily loved it all, but we loved seeing her try to stand like a flamingo. Too cute. We really need to take family trips more often. Its good for us.
